At P.G.Webs Designs, we receive quote requests on a daily basis from clients in a variety of industries: finance, fashion, retail, biotech and specialty practices - to name a few. To assess their needs, we ask a number of questions that help them decide on what type of website is best suited for them. The main point of these is to find out what kind of website will help their business grow. Below are listed the main types of websites that we build and who they are for.

  • E-Commerce: An e-commerce website is best suited for retailers hoping to expand their sales to the online market. It allows the merchant to control the products via a content management system and stay in contact with customers via customer relationship management. Orders are tracked and shipped, newsletters are sent-out, and product details can be easily updated.
  • Brochure: This is what we recommend for financial institutions who wish to take advantage of the Web to promote their corporate image. The purpose of a brochure website which consists of pages that describe the activities of the group is to give confidence to clients, investors, and job seekers.
  • Flash: A Flash-based website is recommended for any business looking to enhance the image of their brand online or give users an extra-ordinary web experience. Some of our Flash design clients include jet charter, fashion, and jewelry companies. Flash is less often used for selling directly from the website, and more for prompting the customer into making a purchase by requesting a quote or contacting the company via telephone or contact form.
  • Dynamically Generated: A website with dynamically generated pages is one best suited for those businesses that require an unlimited number of subpages to be created automatically with every new entry. This includes video and news websites, or clients such as PolyScientific who required pages to be created for every new addition to the site.
